Old friends and new heroes

by Will Grubb

After spending some time apart from his friends and working on making amends with the people in Woodland Hall, Will met up with the rest in one of the taverns in Lake-town. After catching up on each others travelings, the group decided to go meet king Bard's people in relation to the request that had been posted a year ago. While in the town hall, the group ran into an old friend of young Will, the famous Wizard known as Gandalf the Grey. After some introductions, the party decided to follow Gandalf and listen for the opportunity for adventure. During their travels, to the dismay of Will, Gandalf talked about the old firework accident, explaining he was reason behind the "banishment" of Will. In spite of some reluctant feelings, Will thanked the old man for nudging him towards adventure. After some time, the group arrived at Inn run by another familiar face for Will: Dody the Hobbit. They were mostly injured, explaining that a group of goblins and orcs kept harassing them. Saving the mercenary leader, we decided to make our stand. After the first blows were struck, one of those filthy creatures decided to kidnap the hobbit. Luckily we managed to free him in time thanks to our elder elvenfolk finally being a useful marksman. While some of us fell over from our wounds, the captain that we had saved showed himself to be the mvp, as he not only withstood the orc leader's attacks, but also beheaded to creature with some swift strikes. After the death of their leader, the filth decided to retreat. Now we only needed to clean up the last orcs. After stabilizing our friends and finishing the orcs, we decided to rest a while. Too late we realized the disappearance of Dindy. Now we have to go rescue someone....again....
