We are now staying in Mythgulch for the foreseeable future. We made arrangement for the repair of the Tortoise and also invested in a fireproof mast and a crow's nest. The other ship needs more extensive repairs to be of any use to use but I feel like it'll be worth it. As a result, we are now stuck in this rather miserable small town with its religious fanatics and constant flooding. At least no one wants us dead yet, so that's an improvement compared to Vulcrom. We're going to do some small jobs in order to finance the repairs and hopefully make some useful connections here.
I found another piece in the puzzle that is my former best friend. Secret cargoholds used for transporting people. I'm not going to deny that slavery is the first thing that comes to mind. It fits with the reaction I got from people in Vulcrom when I mentioned Eddie's name. I know he kept things from me. His gambling addiction for one. But I cannot imagine him sinking this low, to be that desparate. After all, twenty years is a long time to know a person and I knew Eddie better than anyone. I cannot believe that all those years were a lie. Something must have happened to change him and there may be other explanations that I cannot yet see. I need to remember that and keep an open mind.
Enrora, the new crew member, proved herself useful and talented during our fight with the undead captain. Unlike Bud and Blue, she is more interested in exploring the town and joining Bo, Grim and I on the little missions we're planning. She's powerful and very upper class. Apparently she went to the academy. I'm not sure if we can trust her. She obviously thinks herself better than any of us and has opinions on everything. It can be quite tiring. She seems to dislike Bo for some reason. Bo is starved for any kindness and she uses this to her advantage. I've let it go for now, after all, Bo should be able to take care of himself, but I need to keep an eye out for that. Again, this is only a gut feeling I have and again I don't have the whole picture. Trust is good but control is better. I won't be too sad when we drop her of in Narves eventually.
