Being a firbolg, Wendel is tall and physically imposing. He stands at 7 ft. tall and is 250 lbs. of muscle, but compared to other firbolgs he's quite skinny.

Mentality

Personal history

Wendel grew up in a small Firbolg village in the Blue Woods. The Firbolgs are in tune with nature like the elves and druids, and maybe even more so. They are guardians of the forest, and tend to fight alongside the elves in helping defend their wooded homelands. Wendel had a sheltered upbringing and is a very positive person. His village has defended their section of the woods from certain human attacks, so his few interactions with humans have been negative.

Regardless, he's very welcoming to anyone he meets and wishes to get out of his village and explore the world. His heart is kind and simple, and tends to take things in a literal way. He achieved his goal of going out to see the world by joining the druids, and being inducted into their order. When the druid Ataulf stole the Heart of the Oak, the Druidic Council sent Wendel to try and find him. They hope that the world can teach him more than they have.

Wendel tends to have a generally positive outlook on life. He isn't naive however and is willing to do what needs to be done. Too pure for this world, Wendel has a deep care for nature and others and as the saying goes; will often set himself on fire to keep others warm.
