Scree Spring Cleaning
Scree, sitting alone in her room reading a book, startles as Mimicat knocks over her Bag of Holding. Sighing to herself, Scree sets down the book and reaches for the bag. Mimicat chortles up at its master and then darts into the bag before she could stop him. "You little scoundrel! I already fed you today!!" She picks up the bag, pulls back the flap, and reaches her hand in. Feeling around the void for the familiar textures of her companion's body, she curses under her breath that he better not be eating "the good stuff" in there. Her hand closes around a long slender object. It feels cold and hums slightly with power. Her fingers pick up the slightest bit of scaley texture along its length. "What...is that?" She says with curiosity, not picturing anything that would come to mind matching the feel of the object in her hand. She pulls out the item and stares, the brow over her left eye arching in surprise. "Now....where did you come from?" she asked the rod, as if it would answer. Looking it over, she sees the head of a snake at the top. "I remember you, but I can't recall from where."
Scree sets the Staff of the Adder on her table and reaches back into the bag. Wrapping her fingers this time around a long fuzzy item, she gives it a gentle yank and pulls Mimicat out of her sack. Tucking him under her arm securely, Scree fastens the flap of her bag shut and hangs it in her closet in an attempt to keep her hungry pet away from her items. "I wonder how much I can get for this item." Scree ponders to herself.
