Scree pays tribute to Temperance.

by Aakscree Titandaughter

Scree takes the time to riffle through the belongings still left in Temperance's room. The group was still in shock and burdened with grief, so her things lay where they did before she met her end. Unmoved, waiting, as if she would be back any moment to claim them. Scree traces a finger over a stitched design that decorated one of her shirts. Its sleeve hanging from a barely closed drawer, as if Temperance dressed in a hurry and forgot to close it. She pulled the shirt from the drawer and held it to her nose, taking in the familiar scent of her departed friend. The memory of them laughing just days ago made her eyes sting and Scree wiped away a tear. Folding the shirt thoughtfully, she laid it on the perfectly made bed. She pulled a cloth sack from her bag and began to carefully pack Temperance's things inside. She would wait a few days before asking Fip if Temperance had any close family to send the belongings to. She took one day to do this and on day two she located a nearby temple Temperance would visit. She explained to them what happened to Temperance and spent the next few days offering her services to the temple in honor of her late friend.
