BYTE is a freelance splicer (cyberware tech) with an axe to grind with Confederated Boeing. He has a day job working at the SADR project at Temasek.
 
BYTE was instrumental in several operations against the establishment of Confederated Boeing's Tian Dao Space Elevator in Singapore, during which he briefly crossed with Councilor Oswaldo Yeoh. His opposition culminated with his capture and disappearance in 2050, presumably at the hands of Boeing Signals Intelligence, and not before he left clues for his friends to foil Boeing's attempting coup.
