My father, Ekin, was a traveling tinkerer from another world. He met my mother, Mizyu, who was a soldier, during his travels on Hurikama. They fell in love and he decided to stay on Hurikama and work here. A few years later, I came along. As a family, we would travel all over Hurikami. Dad would fix things & build machines and Mom would hire out as a guard for the caravans we would join. During our travels, our family grew. I soon had younger siblings, 4 in total.
 
While growing up, I helped as I could. I was fascinated by the machines and devices Dad would fix or make for his customers. When he found out I had good penmanship, he had me write schematics and instructions. Later on, I would also
draw blueprints. Mom taught me (basic) fighting, calisthenics, and meditation. I was officially apprenticed to my father on my 40th birthday and learned the art of tinkering.
 
We continued traveling for 30 years. Just as I decided to leave and make my way as a traveling tinkerer, the town we were working in was attacked by the Neogi. We fought back, but were overpowered. Most of the town, my family, and I were captured. We were separated and I was sent to an asteroid mine to maintain the machines there.
 
I have been a slave for the Neogi for 5 years now. I don't know where my family are or even if they are still alive. I have vowed to free myself and then find my family and free them from slavery as well.
