Personal history

Born the second child and first son of Cedar McLeod, High Queen of the demi-god like race known as the Tuatha De Danann from the realm of Tir Na Nog, and her husband Fionnbharr (Finn). Named after his maternal grandfather Brogan, the previous High King and direct descendent of Nuada of the Silver Hand. Inherited his mother's ability to manipulate fire, unlike his older sister Eden who as the older child received powers from both parents. Contrary to the normal rules for his race and his status as a second child, Brogan also inherited an unusual ability for empathy, believed by his people to be a side effect of his mother having a spell placed on her at birth by her adoptive druid mother Maeve to make her seem human and hide her on Earth from her people's civil war. This ability allows him to understand other beings in a way his race can't. To a limited degree it can also allow him to tap in to abilities of others he shares an emotional bond with.

Education

Educated at the Great Hall library of the royal court in the history of his people and of other races they have knowledge of, including humans, leprechauns, the merrow, gancanagh, etc.

Employment

Technically a prince, but works voluntarily as a freelance researcher, gathering info of various subjects for his peoples' storehouse of knowledge.

Failures & Embarrassments

Separated from his sister, who can create portals across realms within their home plane, during an argument that led them into stumbling into an ambush by hostile creatures. Found himself in an uncharted realm with no idea what to do.

Mental Trauma

Attempted to reach out and tap his sister's portal ability to get home. Doing so without her consent created a psychic emotional backlash due to causing her pain by using his empath ability in an antithetical manner. This combination created a rift between planes and stranded him even further in an entirely different plane outside his own, but also left him with the ability to planeswalk.
