Physical Description

Kit looks like a young adult human male with the fluffy ears, tail, and yellow eyes of a cat. Most of his body mass is lean muscle. His natural brute strength is only a bit above human average, but his natural agility is beyond human limits.

Identifying Characteristics

Kit has a notch missing from one of his ears. Its origin is unknown; it was there when he was found outside the college.

Apparel & Accessories

Kit has a tanking-focused equipment set that makes him much tougher and makes him regenerate. As a side effect it makes him count as a dark creature, which makes him resistant to darkness effects but vulnerable to light.
 
Along with magic armor and the typical adventurer's mix of wearable magical equipment, Kit has a bunch of amulets. One is the Amulet of Champions, which increases his strength to the natural human limit and his resilience to well beyond that. He also has a lucky charm and Mickey's Lucky Golden Tooth, both of which actually boost his luck.

Specialized Equipment

Kit wields a pair of daggers for both melee and ranged combat. In melee, he has a pair of "long-fang" daggers that are basically small shortswords. At range, he has an ice dagger that can launch an ice blade and he has a dagger of flight and returning.
 
Kit has recently acquired an Old One who likes sharpness and is currently taking the form of a black dagger. The dagger, which Kit has named Mr. Sharps, instantly replaces any dagger Kit tries to draw. This mixed blessing is made up for by a bevy of impressive combat abilities, including a powerful poison that causes severe damage and possibly instant melting death. The Old One is working with Kit as a means of wiping out the Yellow Formians who had been attempting to experiment on it and turn it into a superweapon for their own use. It has requested that it be dropped off afterwards in some place where it will be left alone.

Personal history

Kit doesn't really know his own origins. He doesn't dwell on that. He's busy thinking about food, sun, and the other simple pleasures of life.
 
As far as he's been told, he just showed up one day, unconscious, on the doorstep of a bard college in Radagast. He had no memory of his past and didn't much care. The members of the bard college (most of them women) found him adorable and took him in. With his very catlike mentality, his notched ear, and his ability to speak cat (and thus negotiate with the city's stray cat population), the prevailing theory is that he was once a local alley cat.
 
Kit showed little bardic talent, but his athleticism and helpful nature proved useful around the college, and he clearly showed himself as scrappy and tough. When the adventuring party known as the Company of Steel came looking for information or aid, Kit was offered as help for their quest.
 
Kit adventured with the Company of Steel for some time. He quickly became the party tank, and his skills and equipment expanded in that direction. He was not well pleased by the party's long journeys aboard a sailing ship, particularly because one of the party's main strategies during monster attacks was to tie a rope around him and toss him overboard to fight. (He didn't know how to swim. He did get good at holding his breath.)
 
During the party's adventures, they visited a continent that had a large population of kami. Among these was a jester kami, and since the jester seemed relatively harmless and Kit felt like he had been straying too Lawful from hit Neutral Good preferences, Kit decided to help the jester with some requests.
 
The first task was to take an invisibility potion and use it on either an old man or a young woman. The invisibility potion had been modified so that it would only make the target's clothes go invisible. Kit decided that no one needed to see the old man naked, so he went with the young woman. The fact that the act could be considered sexual assault didn't even occur to his feline brain until it was pointed out to him some time later.
 
The second task was to give someone a potion of great power and charisma with a sharp and unexpected time limit. It is likely that the jester expected Kit to use it to trick a villain into an overconfident downfall, or perhaps to swindle an unfortunate hero. Instead, Kit gave it to a complete loser and let him spend an hour living a better life.
 
Regardless of the merits of these actions, the jester rewarded Kit with boons for each. For the first, he gained the ability to inscribe a personal holy symbol on objects. The symbol turned out to be the same as Tavin's, which is one of a number of signs indicating a link between the two individuals. For the second boon, Kit gained a set of bright angel wings that he can summon and dismiss at will. Both boons, according to the jester, are things he's giving Kit "early". Those around Kit have speculated that this implies that Kit is some sort of catboy angel, or someday will be. Kit, for his part, has given no thought to any such implications and has simply enjoyed flying around.
 
That continent is also where he picked up his two potential love interests, Plum and Emerald. Kit doesn't want anything to do with either of them. In late 23 ARL, he joined the war in faraway New Hallownest to try to escape them.

Education

Kit's education has so far been limited. He effectively grew up at a bard college, but as he had no talent as a bard, he mostly did odd jobs and made good use of his instincts and innate physical prowess. During his time as an adventurer he did get special training in how to be a better tank for the party.

Employment

Kit initially did odd jobs around the bard college that raised him. He later found work as an adventurer with the Company of Steel, and he's now begun searching for solo adventurer work as a mercenary.

Catboys appear to be very rare, at least in Kit's opinion. This makes him a hot item. He mostly fails to notice flirting attempts and has actively expressed disinterest in any sort of relationship. For now, at least, he's far too busy basking in life's simpler pleasures.

Kit has reptilian animal companions, mostly because the universe thought it would be funny to give him snake followers instead of cats. The first is a sand snake named No Name. The second is a flying snake wyvern named Mixer. Mixer is the size of a standard wyvern, but is much more snakey in appearance. Mixer is about 60 feet long.
