Raven Sister in Koracia

A strange figure is moving in Koracia. It is dressed in large black pieces of cloth and the face is covered with a black mask with a strong beak. The figure is called Knife, but no one knows why. No one knows her real name either. Knife has the gift of sight and delivers intelligence to council meetings, with a voice that alternates between gutural expressions and loud cries reminiscent of yoik. With this, her messages become a little difficult for the others in the council to understand, but they have given up their attempts to make her clearer. Instead, they listen extra carefully and then discuss among themselves what it is that Knife is trying to say.
Before Knife came to Koracia, she walked around Ravenland with her brother, also wearing a raven mask. They sang in foreign voices to the people in the villages of the wretched and told about the future and what was happening in other parts of the country. After the Knife was elected to the Corps Council, the brother wandered alone between the villages. The knife can sometimes be heard the yoiks against the sky from the highest branches of Koracia and the other council members guess that she then has contact with her brother.
