Zalman's journey so far

I'm really enjoying my adventure outside school and "in the real world", it's just what I was hoping for.
Initially I was with a travelling entertainment group, which was fine but soon switched to a caravan which was headed to the city.
This has turned out to be an excellent move as I've fallen in with a great bunch of characters.
We've been through a few adventures together now and I think this group is one to stick with.
I've earned so much money on these adventures that I can't actually carry it all so I've invested some with a fellow group of Hobbits who are trying to establish a leather working business in the city. I met them on the caravan train and they seem like a worthy bunch, good luck to them.
I'm off on a new adventure soon so fingers crossed it'll be as exciting, and educational as what's happened so far.
One of our party, a cleric, has found a place where he can rejuvenate himself w.r.t. to his religion and teachings so has decided to stay in that town for a short while. This struck me as probably a good time for me to go back to Markrands, see my uncle and to spend a bit of time seeing if I can learn a few more spells. The party has come into possession of some artifacts (2 spell books and a staff) that the school might be interested in studying too so I intend to donate those on our behalf.
Well that learning experience was most enjoyable and quite productive and it was good to see the place again.
I'm now ready to re-join my friends though so it's off to City League next.
