To Daggerford

A contact of Belias' relays information of some apparent growing troubles within the region surrounding Daggerford. Kohv gathers what supplies he needs, says his goodbyes to his brother and sets off for the town in hopes of walking into something interesting.

1479 DR

Lords' Guildsmen - First Promotion

Kohv is elevated to the rank of sergeant within the Lords' Guildsmen by Belias after a long stream of successful missions and positive encouragements.

1479 DR

Lords' Guildsmen

After his brother lands an apprenticeship with an alchemist, Kohv finds himself on his own for whatever work now awaits him. He continues further contracts with Belias, becoming much closer to the guard through it all. Belias decides to do something he hasn't done in years for another - offer sponsorship with the Lords' Guildsmen. Kohv readily accepts the offers and is initiated into the organization, being granted an elevated rank of corporal right from the start due to his prior military service and successful accomplishment of whatever missions Belias had sent him on.

1479 DR

Less Than Fine Carver

Kohv joins Waterdeep's Guild of Fine Carvers and begins his tutelage as a wood carver.

1478 DR

Registered Adventurers

Kohv and Io become Registered Adventurers of Waterdeep.

1478 DR

A New Home

Kohv and Io put their saved coin to use in an attempt to find a more permanent residence within the city. They end up taking on an offer for a private inn room rental within the city's Southern Ward. It's not the nicest or largest of rooms one might happen upon, but it was home to them. Something that was more truly theirs, for once.

1478 DR

A New Friend

Kohv and Io come into contact with a member of the City Guard, a man named Belias Hawthorne. They all get on rather well, with the duo taking on a growing number of contracts for the man and earning his trust (and coin) in the process.

1477 DR

A New Life

The two quickly immerse themselves into whatever local work happens to come their way: dock labor, messengers, inn hands and mercenary work would fill most of their time for a solid while before they would be able to lay down some roots.

1477 DR

The Road To Freedom

The two spend many, many months carefully navigating the land as best they could manage with the maps they had been provided with by the Princes' Network, alongside the general directional instructions they received from the group and helpful travelers they happened to meet along the way. They had decided on Waterdeep as their destination. Far, far away from the reach of Thay and its nightmares. A massive power which wouldn't be threatened and was heavily welcoming to all, regardless of race or origin. Their journey would eventually end at the gates of Waterdeep where they'd finally begin their new life, free from any further shackles.

1477 DR

The Escape

Kohv and Io come into contact with a representative of "The Prince," the leader of an underground freedom movement. They're promised assistance in their escape of the country if they're able to eliminate the commander of their detachment and can find their way to a local burned out hamlet for extraction. After several weeks of preparation, Kohv murders his commander in the night, alongside a fair few slave hunters who happened to get in the way. The two managed to reach the hamlet without any disturbance where they would wait, soon to be hided away in safehouse to safehouse until their eventual transport out of the country proper.

1476 DR

The Final Transfer

Kohv and Io are transferred into a specialty slave-hunting detachment, under the command of a particularly cruel commander. They learn a decent level of skill in tracking and other... unsavory talents.

1476 DR

Dual Misfortunes

Rumors begin to circulate of the duo's master and their increasing monetary shortcomings. In the months following, Kohv and Io would find themselves sold once -again-, this time to a representative of the Thayan army. They would be placed in one of the country's slave infantry legions, combating foes both foreign and internal.

1474 DR

Graduation

The two "graduate" from their teachings at near the exact same time and soon find themselves ferried to their new master's gladiatorial barracks. Thus would begin their new career as gladiators, with the two mostly acting together in duo matches against opponents.

1471 DR

A Change of Fates

Janak is assassinated by a rival in the arms trade. Another, far more prominent noble somehow manages to rend control over most of Janak's assets, including Kohv and Io. The two are sold off once more; this time to another noble whom they would never even meet, as they were immediately sent to a gladiatorial school to train and eventually fight for the man's coin. Luckily for the both of them, they had received some decent measure of combat training so as to act as dual protectors for their former master in the event something managed to work its way through their guards. This, along with their size, eased them into the new change... at least somewhat.

1470 DR

The Meet

Kohv and Io arrive in Eltabbar late into the night. They're shepherded off into a separate room within the noble's villa while the rest of the newly purchased stock are taken to the bunkhouse. They soon meet the master of the house, Janak Amagol. He eagerly greets and inspects them, informing them of what's to become of their new life. This marks the true beginning of their life after Irestone.

1459 DR

Arrival

Kohv and Io arrive at the Thayan port city of Bezantur where they're soon held at auction on the slave market. The chief stablemaster of a young, up and coming noble purchases the two of them together for an undisclosed amount. They're quickly set off by cart to the city of Eltabbar with several other purchases.

1459 DR

Sold

The Untheran manage to sneak their way into Mulhorand. Kohv and Io are sold off for a significant price to a Thayan slave merchant in the port city of Neldorild. They spend several more days in port before shipping off to Thay.

1459 DR

Taken

Irestone village is attacked by a large, desperate group of Untheran army deserters. The village's inhabitants are slaughtered, most fighting to the death in defense of their home or to simply avoid capture of any kind. Kohvneir and his "brother" Iomar are taken captive and ferried around by the group as they push out of the country in an attempt to reach someplace safe.

1459 DR

Birth

Born in the year 1455 DR, within the Tymantheran village of Irestone.
