The Boy Who Was Screwed

In an age long gone, so many that the number of moons since are lost, there was a boy. This boy had been born with a silver screw in each of his shoulders, and a golden one in his belly button. He was mocked as a child, but soon the locals grew used to it, and he became a bright, clever young man. He had many questions, and many answers, but never an answer to the question he had all his life. What are these screws for? So, coming of age he left the small village, his parents bawling and his peers jeering. He explored the world, talking to the wise men and kings of all the land. He spoke with peasants, sailors, tailors, jailors, nobles, horsemen, soldiers, and officers, he spoke with anyone who would listen. But no single man, woman, or child could even guess why he was screwed. One day, he came to the king of a far distant country, the name is lost to me, that is said to have sunk beneath the sea in today's world. The king of such land was the wisest of all men and the cleverest. When the boy approached him, he laughed a deep belly laugh. He said to the boy, "Boy, I know not their purpose, but I have what is needed to remove them should you want. I don't know what will happen, I am not all-knowing, but the only way to discover is to try." Saying this, he reached behind his throne, pulling out a box. In it were two silver screwdrivers and one golden one. The boy sat at the king's side, not moving an inch while the Wise King unscrewed the boy. Nothing happened, and the boy and king both were disappointed. A pensive look on his face, the king suddenly turned to the boy, who turned with him. The boy's head fell off. Right on the floor. In a surprise, the boy stood, and wouldn't you know it his ass fell off too. The End.
