I Have a Plan
I remembered enough of my plan to write it down...
But how would I accomplish such a plan? Impossible! I'm stuck here as surely as if I was nailed to a sturdy oak...
Regardless, perhaps it will be seen by someone in the end. I shall transcribe what I can remember, though I will revise it in future days.
First of all, I need a group of heroes. These must be of the lowest level adventurers, started through false doctrine or desperation, they must be willing to do many things a higher level would not. They must build renown, and strike fear into the hearts of evil.
I would ideally guide them through stages, much like a puppeteer acts out a play. But how can I do this? The question racks my body like the grippe, more crippling than broken limbs. I must ponder on it.
As these heroes gain more power and fame, they must be encouraged to begin targetting those who meddle in the powers of death and undeath, primarily the necromancer's guild. Few are willing to impose them, but they must.
They must destroy their ranks, following a single thread to the top, where they'll meet my brother. Dergran. Even writing the name and gazing upon it fills me with disgust.
With my help, they will slay him. I know of a few ways this can happen, but they are sure and true, all I need is to be there. I wish I did not have to, for he is my only kin left in the world, and I love him as only a brother can. But I hate him with a fury for the chaos he has put in the world.
That is it. The barest bones of my plan. I have yet to figure out how to enact it, let alone escape here. This place will drive me mad.
