Gratch was somewhat of an enigma in the small town of Warwick, appearing seemingly out of nowhere as a small child on an ordinary, musty summer night. He was first found asleep in one of the many cattle barns that litter the town, curled up on a bale of sheared wool. Being a primarily human town, Warwick hadn't seen too many goblins, most assuming Gratch was an abandoned child of the goblin band living near the border of the town.
As one would expect of an orphan from a "lesser" race, as many in Warwick would phrase it, Gratch was not treated well growing up. Many of the villagers saw him as a pest, if not an outright disgusting creature, resulting in him spending many a lonely night looking up at the stars wishing he was anywhere else. Eventually, he managed to scrape a job with the town apothecary, eradicating the rats that infest the dark corners of the town with poisons and herbs.
Despite developing significant trust issues growing up, particularly of humans, Gratch continues to believe that he can find a home in Travenhall. Determined to prove that he is more than the villagers of Warwick gave him credit for when he was younger, he continues to strive for respect and a sense of belonging with his newfound group of mercenaries.

Appearance
Physical Description
Extremely nimble and flexible, Gratch has impressive reflexes both on and off the battlefield. Though somewhat lacking in physical strength, Gratch more than makes up for this in precision and accuracy.
Body Features
Light green skin stretched tight over a small frame, with messy, unkempt hair. Smells of spices and tinctures due to his profession as an apothecary.
Facial Features
Wide, curved ears, a slightly flattened nose, and deep-set eyes give Gratch an almost odd appearance.
Physical quirks
Gratch wrings his hands when he grows nervous, a physical tick that he has been working to overcome after developing it as a child. In addition, while he strives to appear more put-together than regular goblins, he still has somewhat of a hunch to his shoulders.

Enchanted silver rapier and a slew of potions, poisons and alchemical reagents.

A budding Advakinetic, Gratch continues to develop his magical control over wave-based energy sources, such as sound and light.
