Nymeria was born before the Shadow Elves were driven from their Northern Holds. She was just shy of her 20th year when they resettled Hrivendor under the guidance of Cavatina Nytraven.

Tired of feeling as if her brilliance was being stifled and locked under her mentor's shadow, she sees the Aria Expedition as a means to prove her brilliance to the world.
