Quentin Pomeroy was a Daphinite adventurer, investor, and explorer from Liesson, known for his eccentric personality and heroic exploits, inspired by legends and fairytales of great heroes. Despite being born into the noble Pomeroy Family, Quentin abandoned an aristocratic life for one of adventure. He died in August 1056 M.A. of a heart attack, seemingly brought on by poisoning with the "Dream Plague."
Throughout his life, Quentin gathered a sizeable catalogue of friends, associates, and business partners from across the known world. A number of these, brought together by his funeral, would begin looking into the circumstances of his death and deciphering the strange will he left behind.
