Jeddon Vey is a professor of geology at Prash University. He flew to Chellok in HE93 on the Senu II, an old retro-fitted ship.

Professor Vey risked his reputation, wealth, and called in all the favors he could to collect a crew and get the university to sponsor a ship, the Senu II, and his team’s passage to Chellok. Usuki, a commercial sponsor, backed out at the last minute, so Vey’s team spent their last few days on Prakyun looking for pilgrims willing to pay the steep price for transport and a chance at a fresh start on Chellok. A few eager adventurers used the last of theirs or their family’s savings or took on debts to buy passage in the hopes of finding a big payoff on Chellok.
