Personal history

Braemys is a researcher hoping to become a master alchemist. He used to share his lab with a wizard who was hellbent on finding a way to completely tame and harness the power of fiends and celestials. This did not end well. During one of his acquaintance's many experiments, he lost control of a demon he attempted to summon and it killed the wizard and destroyed the workspace along with all of Braemys's hard work. He was upset about this. Now he would have to start all of his research over from scratch along with finding a new space to work in. So he traveled for a few years, looking for a nice secluded town to build his new laboratory in when he heard of Last Hope and he thought it sounded like the perfect town. So he set off there in the hopes that he may one day actually build his new lab, and never allow another wizard to share the space, maybe not even another artificer....
