Chapter 2: Session 3: Love, Lust, and Murder Report

In The Newspaper Building 

Upstairs:

• Emil went to explore upstairs; he found nothing of use. While he was heading back downstairs, a creature tried to grab him. Upon further investigation, the adventurers could not see this creature. It would later kidnap Maia. 
• Emil would cast detect magic and allow the group to see white creatures: These creatures seem to be drawn to the detect magic, not the magic channel itself. 
• Maia is kidnapped downstairs. 

Maia

• Maia is taken by a gargoyle who says he is going to take her to the Time Court. Was this the truth? Who knows. A white creature had followed them, which made the gargoyle take Maia to a different point in time. 
• Maia lands in a place where the royals are alive and well, and she is told she must kill the baby prince. 
• Lynn and Crystal are older, and Lynn does remember Maia. 
• Athena would save Maia but tell her she must kill the baby prince to correct her mistakes. Maia will go to kill the baby prince, but Athena will stop her. Athena gives Maia a golden dagger and an envelope. 
• Maia is returned to her group.

At The Hospital 

Neurology 

• Dr. Kent Robbers was the first doctor to get any cases involving worms. His first patient was Louis St' Clare. 
• Worms hollow out the whole brain.
• Worms have 6 eyes, a circular mouth, and a bunch of tiny legs.
• Patents will experience; mood swings, irritability, slowing losing control of their magic. 
• Patients die within 3 days. 

St' Clare digging 

• Louis is the brother to Marie St' Clare. 
• He worked for Willdale Associates: A medical firm that made Dopie Opies. Doctors used the medication to treat children who were taken by the Org. Most of these children end up killing themselves if not treated. 
• He was heavily against royal children being shifted around. He spoke out against this often. 

OBGYN 

• Birthrates starting decreasing: 1308 TOS. During this time, the children were stillborn. The mothers usually died, and the fathers became ill. 
• Animals could not reproduce either. 
• Mothers banded together to stop having children. 
• O.S.A.D.S.I.U. : Would step in to take any orphaned children. 
• Birthrates increased: 1226 TOS. 
• Mothers were having triplets: One child born was rare. 
• 9/10 children were male. 
• 1232 TOS: This rapid birthrate stopped. 
• Animals were affected by all of this.
• Girls born during the boom had golden eyes. 
• Most of the children died at 16. 

3rd Floor

• Bruce is seen on this floor. It seems he loses his wife and child. Although he is frozen, pain can still be seen in his eyes. He looks to be 30+. 
• They pass a man who is yelling at a nurse. Once they enter the room, they will find a girl with golden eyes; after waking her up, they learn this mess is bigger than they thought.
