The King and Queen of the past were killed in a freak world jumping accident: They got crushed when the present King fell from the sky. This is what started the hostile takeover of Arrondeth.

History

Arrondeth has a vibrant history; it is one of the few states to win over 70% of all wars it has ever fought in. Arrondeth is one of the founding states of the continent of Verstille and was founded for the goddess Athena. The state has always believed in democracy and fairness, and that is one of the things that makes it the most diverse state on the continent. It has always been that way; its founders were Elves and an ancient race of Dinosaur people (Often confused with Lizard Folk) who have since gone extinct. The government has a King and Queen, and they both have an equal amount of power in this state. The Blade dynasty has been in rule for over 100 years now and has fostered some of the most famous people in history. The election is only held when the people of Arrondeth see fit; after a hearing, a vote will be held. The Queen is voted in first, and by that time, she should be married. The King and Queen will have a child, and that child will grow up and rules and so on.
