Shadows stalk the land beyond the walls of the City of Bingtown, a colony of the fallen Commonwealth of Seawatch of the Eastern Isles. Cut-off from its imperial benefactors, Bingtown now has to find a way to feed its people on a continent that resists habitation.
To make matters worse, all is not well within the walls. The Noble classes of Bingtown still see themselves as citizens of the East, whereas the younger generations treat Bingtown as their only home and are beginning to develop a truly independent identity, resulting in violent clashes in ideology for the future of Bingtown. But regardless of your social or political standing, nothing is more frightening than the appearance of Changelings in the family trees of otherwise normal, god-fearing folk.
Is this the Curse of Bingtown? Or just a symptom of something far more strange?
