26. Fat Tusk Report

General Summary

The party buys 2 rowboats, in preparation for having a couple extra passengers on the way back.
They head out, with Bartholomew leading the way.

21st Dravago 998 YK

Dax' Athla notices early in the day that they are being followed by a creature that looks like a bloated buffalo, boar, hippo dinosaur mashup.
It maintains distance all day, and when they camp it approaches and attacks. They see it coming and manage to bombard it.
It attempts to flee but Dax kills it with her bow.
Warden spends 10 minutes making lightning strike the corpse.
A pair of Chuul come to collect the cadaver, at which point Warden skedaddles.
During their rest, they engage in alchemy!

22nd Dravago 998 YK

They travel all day, eventually Bartholomew calls a stop and they head off of the river. They walk through marshland, carrying the boats, for about 40 minutes before they catch sight of an orc and a shifter sitting on a stump.
When Bartholomew spots them, he gets excited and points with both hands.

The orc is Orshok and the shifter is Geth. They introduce themselves and start walking towards Fat Tusk.
Geth tells them his story, what happened in Zarash'ak and how he got here.
Dax' Athla asks how they knew they were coming. Orshok states that Batul saw a vision, and they had come out to wait for them every day.
Geth recounts getting the support of the Fat Tusk tribe in rescuing Singe and Dandra.
Geth hands Tetkashtai over to Kalshana , with a warning that she's very "possessive".
They arrive at Fat Tusk, and the session ends.
