Session 37: Trade in the City of Trade

General Summary

Exiting the Behirian Black Market, Jeanne and Nakor began to discuss in celestial how he ended up where he did. Conn began to sing songs with his summoned killbarrian spirits. Then suddenly Um joined the discussion in celestial. Soon thereafter Nakor switched back to common and Conn joined them. When Jeanne wished to go deal with the bureaucratic, the rest wished to go party in a tavern as well as tend to their wounds. In the end, they all headed to and spent the night at the Frankonian embassy, where Um and Conn spent the night continuing to drink. Before long, Conn went back to the Pen in order to see if his posters had found any fellow killbarrians.   The next four days were spent in relative calmness. The second day was spent in the arena, at least for Jeanne and Nakor. Um went around to explore and learn more about Ashdrabad. Conn walked around to put up more signs before heading to the arena as well, to witness the fights. On the third day, they woke up to find Um at the age of 97. They all met back up at the embassy. Jeanne and Nakor met with the ambassador and told her about what had happened in the Behirian Market. Conn spends the day interrogating the aged Um to find out about how his changing age and personality worked, as well as how his story keeps changing with his age.   Nakor and Jeanne chose to try their luck at a dual battle in the arena, with great success. The next day Um woke up once again as a 97-year-old, much to Conn's great disappointment. Hence he spent the day in the tavern to see if there are any familiar faces. Like the previous days, they ended it in the arena. Yet again, Jeanne and Nakor won. On the last day, Um wakes up as 24 years old. Thus, Conn could continue his questioning.   The party spent their last day in Ashdrabad finding different markets to buy magical artefacts that could help them on their journey, as well as getting their items that the Madame's Watcher was enchanting for them. Nakor managed to buy some hens that he put in his bag of holding. After one last bout in the arena, they made their way back to the Swift Mermaid and slept. The next morning Jeanne tried to gather the group but was thrown to the ground in fits of laughter following a magical display by the prince. When this had subsided, she lead them a bit disgruntled to the map room.   There they charted a course along the eastern side of the Alterion continent.
