A letter long in sending

by The blue rider Nakor

Beloved Brother!

I hope that you are well! It was far too long since I wrote and for that I am sorry. Unforeseen circumstance kept me after the disaster in Dagetov and later Karakhasa. Our suspicions regarding Gèrén proved correct, leading to disastrous consequences. It must end! I am as steadfast in my convictions as ever! Are the plans still in motion?

I for myself is well! I have fallen back into my previous position as a diplomatic representative of our glorious nation. The chance of bumping into another in my position ought to be less than zero since our homeland is reticent to send out representatives at the best of times. We have not been forgotten and I am being awarded the highest state honors, when no grudges are at play. Sadly there are quite a few of those, some old and some new. If you by chance hear anything about an incident in Zarastil the situation is dealt with. Other circumstances are inconsequential at the time.

How is the situation at home? Are the people content? What more troubles caused by Nánrén? At times like this sleeping at a cheap inn I do miss the down mattress of my room in the palace, or even my tent in The Spears. Do not worry about me though! Life is not as pampered as in our youths, but I am getting by. The company I have managed to keep has for the most part been nice, if somewhat nosy and impatient. I guess that is what happens when you live for but 80 years.

For the sake of discretion my location must remain unknown. Replies can be left in the customary location rotations starting with the next one on the list from the place you picked this one up in. Pickup will if possible follow in twice the regular timeframe. Please keep me updated on what happens at home and especially concerning Zhànshì.

Best wishes!
BR

PS: The bag you gave me is a life save, quite literally. I must tell you the next time we meet!
