Turning on a worm Report

General Summary

As Cookie falls in pieces Alok Ravaralei is left briefly alone at the hands of a giant subterranean worm. It is not long before the rest of the party makes their way to his aid - but not before he's savaged by the creature.    Marble quickly discovers the cavern is filled with sticky filaments which soon trap Thomas Marchant, Badalona Ailendogs and Marble himself. They are lured into the clutches of the worm by a mesmerising blue light that many find impossible to resist.   The heroes have lights of their own - flaming spheres cast by Marble and Mehmen Ashid - which slowly burn away the filaments and take a toll on the worm. A toll that is further increased by Alok's archery.    Thomas is rendered unconcious after a worm attack and his friends find it difficult to reach the fallen bard. Luckily he is eventually revived and Badalona, who has previously been out of the fight because of his inability to reach the worm finally strikes the killing blow as the beast tries to make a meal out of Marble.
