Session 1.5: A Visitor Comes with Gifts Report

General Summary

NEVERWINTER SOUTH GATE

Upon the party's arrival at the city gate, a large number of armored guards could be seen protecting the large entrance.

Shortly after, the group of guards parted and a respectable, white bearded man dressed in fine crimson regalia briskly walked forward towards the party's wagon. He was accompanied by a short and armored halfling who was clearly a steward of this unknown man.

Coming closer to the wagon via a hillock nearby, he introduced himself as Klaus Frostmantle and that his halfing partner is named Crispin.

Sildar Hallwinter, though he explained he had errands further in the city, requested that Klaus come and provide some gifts for his friends. Klaus owed Sildar a favor so he was happy to oblige.

Klaus did remain a bit confused by the presence of Lysander Nenuial as Sildar hadn't mentioned him. However, in good spirits, he happily had Crispin provide a gift to him as well.

Though not much was revealed about Klaus, other than he had to move on quickly to visit others in the area, it is clear that he is a confident, well-respected individual. It seems that he also has access to a range of very useful goods.
