Session 4: Return to Belsnik

General Summary

Previous Session: Session 3: Warehouse Woes
  The Lads distribute the loot found in the hidden compartment upstairs of the warehouse as they take a short rest and wait for the captives to wake up. The beastmen wake up first, one breaking free instantly and attacking. The Lads kill it, and Willow uses its death as an example to the other captive to not try and escape. Willow interrogates the remaining hostages with assistance from Hettle and Shyu. They learn of the name of the big boss, Zesto, who is currently in Norlun. This information was obtained from the current location's boss, Gelden Greybeard, and the loan shark Byron Goldhand. After threatening and interrogating the three prisoners about what they have in the warehouse and the workings of their bandit ring, they ask about the last remaining beastman. He explains that he is a follower of Kish'lagg, God of Beasts, whom Willow recognizes to be a huge beast-like creature that grants its followers a beastly transformation. Willow notes that this being is a false god and nothing more than a beast to be hunted.
  Once the Lads were done with the interrogation, they decided to escort the beast cultist out of the city to protect the citizens in case it decided to attack after they had left. The stronger party members bring the beastman to the cart and load it and Hettle in to hide them from prying eyes. Willow grabs a knife and stabs it into the stairs telling Byron and Gelden if they wanted to escape, they would have to do it themselves. Afterwards, Willow and Krosk escorted Felicity to Terran and gave them a piece of art worth 25 GP to help them pay their debts, warning Terran that he was lucky his risk paid off. On the way back they picked up Honey and the cart from the stables and bought a new horse to take the cart they found at the warehouse. Willow named this horse Birch.
  Meanwhile, Louis attempts to execute the beastman they were going to escort in the cart. With some begrudging assistance from Hettle, they do so and hide the body in a nearby open crate. The Lads went about looting the warehouse, finding an assortment of crates with different symbols and inventories. They note the inventories: daggers, shortswords, and leather armour; and they note the symbols of 8 different animals: wolves, sharks, spiders, bears, scorpions, dragons, crows, and hawks. Additionally, they find a crate filled with wolf pelts and recognize it to be Wilson Bordry's missing shipment. They load up the 2 carts with 11 crates and Hettle. As the Lads were finishing up, Willow went inside the warehouse to find another tarp to cover their loot. When he enters he sees Byron Goldhand, dead on the ground in front of Gelden Greybeard who did not notice him enter. Willow casually walks past them and grabs a tarp, looking at them until Gelden notices him, then leaves without saying a word. The Lads decided to fully load their carts up, meaning the return to Belsnik would take around 4 days. During the first day of travel, a group of bandits caught up to the Lads in a horse and cart and attacked. The Lads assumed Gelden had sent them to take revenge. Combat ensues and the Lads easily dispatch the bandits, commandeering a third horse and cart which has yet to be named.
