Titan's Sorrow

Titans once dominated this land. Of course, most people only think of them as fairy tales these days. Those people consider me crazy, for I keep watch for the return of these Titans, knowing that day is soon at hand.

Even if we did, for a moment, pretend these ancient beings really do only exist in children's stories, it's easy to see that Ardunor is but a shadow of its past. Ancient civilizations wielded magic so powerful they could change the landscape in the blink of an eye.

These civilizations, at least, have proof of their existence. Artifacts from those eras can be found all over the land, though nobody in this age can replicate anything nearly so powerful.

At least, for now, the world seems to be at relative peace. The major powers that be seem content to keep their noses in their own business, even if that means violently. At least they're keeping it to themselves.

I must stop my entry here, for I can never spend too long away from my watch. You never know when the Titans will reawaken.
