Inanis Est Finis

A Dungeons & Dragons 5e game In the world of Prometheus
| Full
Hundreds of nuclear bombs, implanted within the earth by an unknown entity, devastated the world 50 years ago. Everyone is struggling to survive in this dystopian post-apocalyptic world, where animals and even humanoids have been horribly mutated. There is no official government, but there are settlements of different sizes with their own law systems. Our player characters each come from a different settlement in the greater area known as the Wastelands, in the continents of Clymene and Iapetus. Six mysterious godlike figures called the Children of Chaos approach each of them and explain that they are the next chosen six to recreate the world and save it from total annihilation.   The Genesis Game contains the entire world of Prometheus, which is where our players started. This was the world that the Children of Chaos created when they completed their game objective. Inside the game, once the players create their new world, they must pass that world onto the next players—a process that must continue on for eternity. Failure to pass on the next world would result in the apocalypse of all worlds at once: The very first gods and their game and their game and their game and so on, one by one ripping existence apart and ending all life in a burning hellfire.   Along the way they will need to battle the mutants that litter the wasteland to gain experience, gather resources and combine them to create weapons and magical items, gain enough money, battle the factions that stand in their way of the new peaceful universe, and stop the mysterious entity who wants to end the Genesis Game forever and destroy the universe.
