Didyma Sea

Geography

Didyma is the sea bordering the west coast of the Badlands. It has two bays; Prota and Defteros, from north to south. The Defteros Bay turns into the Alteros River, which runs up north towards the Oroseira.

Fauna & Flora

The water of the Didyma is irradiated like the rest of the planet, although its wildlife has fared significantly better than the landdwellers' for some reason. It is home to a rather large community of water genasi and sea elves, some of whom are said to have descended from the mighty Hyderion clan thousands of years ago. If you were to dive deep below the surface, you might see two-headed manatees, giant squids with hundreds of tentacles, or even eels with poison darts for teeth.

Natural Resources

Thanks to Rory Weaver and her father, James Weaver, the water of Prota Bay are slowly becoming less and less radiated, although it will take far longer to completely purify the entirety of the Didyma Sea. The island in the north of the sea, dubbed "Far Harbor", makes use of the purified water, as well as a rapidly growing seafood industry.
