What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
When clicking maps on the left side of the page, it no longer takes you to a full page interface to look through all of your created maps, instead bringing up a small pop up on the left. The pop up is not large enough to display the entire name of many of my maps, and hovering over one does not reveal the entire name either. As I name maps with the region/nation listed first so that they are organized by region, I can no longer tell which map is which, as all that is displayed is the region. This is extremely frustrating. Please eigther revert back to the previous way of displaying all maps, provide an option to open the pop up as a full size window, or make it to where hovering over a map displays the entire name.How does this feature request address the current situation?
It would allow me to see the full name of all maps again.What are other uses for this feature request?

on 2024-04-24 10:21I have exactly the same issue with Timelines, for the same reason. I like the sidebar UI change generally but where long names have been used to group maps (or in my case timelines) together, some way is needed to identify them when they share the same truncated name. I actually raised this as a bug and had some feedback that the team had an idea to address it but no promises on when. In the meantime as a work around I renamed my timelines with shorter "code" type prefixes so they were still grouped together but I could see the right hand text. Not ideal but it allows me to select the item I want.
