I really do appreciate the platform's tools and features that aid in world-building and organizing content. But, I've encountered a limitation in the gallery section that I believe could be improved for a better user experience.
Feature Request
I would like to suggest the implementation of folder nesting within the WorldAnvil gallery. This feature would allow users to create sub-folders within main folders, enabling more detailed and hierarchical organization of images and assets.Benefits
- Enhanced Organization: Users with extensive galleries would find it easier to categorize and locate specific images, especially in large projects.
- Improved Usability: Nested folders would make the gallery more user-friendly, especially for those who rely heavily on visual aids for their world-building.
- Streamlined Workflow: This feature would streamline the process of managing and navigating through large numbers of images, saving time and effort.
The Team's Response
Thanks for your suggestion! Nested galleries won't be implemented (they are galleries, not folders) but nestable folders are planned for a future update.
