Death-Date -Year-of-Death Characters
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Right now, when you type in a Year of Death, in the persons article they are shown like they are already dead, even if the Year of Death is still years out from the set current time.I am working on my TTRPG world on here and I have some characters where I already know when they're gonna die (because I am starting to plan the next campaign in the same world a few years later). Currently, I add that date to secrets, so that when I go back I can add the Date and Year of Death without spoiling my players prematurely.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
By only displaying the year of death (and therefore the age of death) only when the character is already dead in the current time, it allows for Users to preset when a character dies without having to go back and edit it that way once it happens.What are other uses for this feature request?
None that I can think of.The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! This has been declined because it would add too much complexity to the user interface.
