Subscriber-groups secrets article-hiding Privacy article-ui
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I want to be able to make articles secret to all people but a specific subscriber group, like allowing everyone except your roleplaying players to see an article so it doesn’t spoil a campaign.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
It adds an option on the “select a subscriber group” (when making an article secret) menu to select a subscriber group to not be able to see the article.
What are other uses for this feature request?
(This is more of a side option) You could add a viewer to a subscriber group that’s banned from the article because oof disrespectful behavior on the comments(?).
The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! This is closed due to lack of support, but also because we don't quite see how this would be used. We understand that having public content your players can't access is useful, but this system would be easily by-passed by simply logging out. Of course, this setting could also make the article or content only viewable by logged-in users, but then this same effect can be achieved with the current subscriber groups (for example, make a self-assignable subscriber group and tell your players not to get it).
If you had a different usecase for this, we're interested to know about it! Feel free to send us feedback with the feedback widget (click the "?" icon at the top right ot access it) or email me at
