What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I love having the prompts & connections area, especially the template specific ones, as they allow me to flesh out my articles in a very detailed way, and maybe in a way I wouldn't have thought about before. It also helps me compartmentalize all of the info I want to put into the article. However, sometimes I wish the titles of these prompts were slightly different and not so vague in order to encompass everyone's specific world.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
Allowing users to edit the titles of these prompts within the editor would allow a lot more flexibility and flavor in the exact text of their articles.
For example, the instance that made me write this request happened in my Sci-Fi world, where I was writing about a space station when I wanted to include what planet this station orbited in the sidebar. The "parent location" prompt is pretty much what I need (and it allows me to automatically link the article!), but the space station isn't exactly on Earth. It would be perfect if "Parent Location" said something like "Orbiting Planet" or "Primary Body" or something like that.
This is something too specific to my own world to warrant a whole new prompt area, especially when parent location exists and is already essentially what I need. Allowing these titles to be edited on the display side, preferably while keeping the original text (parent location) on the editing side for clarity's sake.
Note:
I understand that I would just be able to use my own headings and such to create an identical "prompt" either in the general prose section or sidebar areas, but this kind of defeats the purpose of being able to organize as those would be in an entirely separate area while the prompts that already fit (but need more specific language) stay empty.
The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! We're closing this due to lack of interest from the community. You can create custom section by using headers, as well as
custom side panel fields.
