What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
The Whiteboard system has poor navigation, especially from the player perspective. As far as I can tell, the only way for players to view a whiteboard is by embedding it into an article, as such: https://www.worldanvil.com/w/drisenheim-fennefell/a/current-affairs-article. However, when you embed it into the article, navigation becomes very tricky, because the only way to navigate around the whiteboard fully is through middle mouse button. Middle mouse button also scrolls the entire page. This is a problem. There are three potential fixes I can see; I am not sure how feasible each is. 1: Allow some sort of fullscreen whiteboard that the players can access, such as how I can develop whiteboards as an owner in their own screen, where middle mouse button works fine. 2: Capture the middle mouse button in some way to stop it from scrolling the page. 3: Add some other mechanism for scrolling that isn't middle mouse button.How does this feature request address the current situation?
This would ensure that the whiteboards are significantly easier to navigate as a player.The Team's Response
Not accepted as per suggested spec. Whiteboards will probably have their own page in the near future. They will not appear INSIDE an article but will have their own page that you will be able to link to with limited functionality when embedded into a page.

on 2022-07-04 02:48I'd love a grab-n-drag option for whiteboard navigation. The listed mouse options for panning aren't working for me in neither edit nor article view. Spacebar+Scroll worked in edit, but in article view, spacebar just jumps to the bottom of the page.
