What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

Currently I can only change the portrait for a character from within the Edit Character page. While working on articles I stay in the Articles interface. It would be awesome to be able to change a characters portrait without loading the edit template page. I think adding an edit image button that opens up the same interface as the Edit Character page has from within Articles would work to solve this issue.

If we had the option to edit the image from there, it could speed up creators workflow if they had finished a group of character portraits and wanted to quickly adjust the images of all the members. Or if your group of players all updated their character looks for a new adventure, you could quickly bring them all up through the tag system and adjust their images quickly.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

This adds another level of quickly working from within the Articles interface without having to open up individual template editors. Especially for people who see slow load times on the Edit Article page.

What are other uses for this feature request?

Boosts the Articles interface. Ease of use for users who cannot easily open the Edit Article pages.
