What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
As far as I can tell, the current to-do list setup allows you to add notes either to brand-new to-dos or to to-do items that already have articles attached, but not to to-dos that have no attached articles. For example, to-do items automatically created from references in other articles can't have notes added.How does this feature request address the current situation?
It would be great to be able to retroactively add notes to to-do list items when you're not yet ready to start a whole article draft for the worldbuilding element it refers to. Something like a button on the to-do list page allowing to-do items to be edited would be great.What are other uses for this feature request?
If to-do items could be edited, not only could notes be added, but any typos or changes to the name of a given world element could be quickly fixed.The Team's Response
The TODO feature is bound for a complete rework late this year. I am accepting this as a note for when we create the spec for the new version.

on 2021-12-29 20:39This would be very helpful because at current you cant edit the to-do list, and just have to delete and start over. I'd also think it would be cool to make an item 'disappear' once its completed on the to-do list. like 'mark as complete' and it goes away. Deleting is just so permanent!
