Editor -tags save keyboard-shortcuts
As a programmer, I have a habit of pressing Ctrl+S and Ctrl+Shift+S after doing some typing, which results in the browser "save page" window opening. I would like Anvil to handle those buttons like Google Keep does or eat it.
Google Keep interperets those two key strokes as "Save immediantly" (I think...). I *have* noticed suggestions regarding a save button, how it has been removed, and the reasoning behind it. Google Keep also has no save button, opting to do auto-save like you do. But they still handle (or possibly eat?) those keystrokes so I don't have to conciously NOT press the buttons.
That isn't that hard in my opinion. You can just eat the event if you only want to support autosave or you can have it trigger a manual save, take you pick. I am actually not sure if Google Keep actually does do a save, but it does show the "autosave" icon thing when you do it.

Do you have any suggestions on what extensions one could use to help with this?
The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! While we understand the Ctrl+S reflex is strong when writing, we don't want to "hijack" a keyboard shortcut unless we really need to. There are browser extensions/addons that can help you with this, and possibly local settings too.
