What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
By default, all maps are added with the "Display this map on the world's homepage." toggle turned on, and to turn it off (or on) is a 3 step deep process of clicking the map->map settings->Data nd privacy, then turning it on/off.How does this feature request address the current situation?
This is a minor quality of life upgrade: From the maps window, add a toggle to the three existing buttons to say "display on homepage" (or don't). That eliminates a three step process when cleaning up a set of maps.What are other uses for this feature request?
I can see that this concept could be used in a few different places to ease homepage or published-state management, but the request is limited to maps.The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! We're declining it because there's a good UX reason to not show that button in the maps list. In most cases, this option is only used once or twice per map (if you use it at all). Therefore, having it in such a prominent place would just add one more option the UI without adding much value to the user experience in the long term.
