What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

The tags are a great way to sort and detail out information in quickhand, letting you designate what belongs to which group. I am currently making a world with details for AD&D 2e, D&D 3.5, 4e, 5e, Pathfinder 2nd Edition, and my personal custom system. As such, I have multiple articles with the same name (Such as the Cleric appearing in every system). This can make it difficult to tell which particular Cleric I am linking to something until I link it, view the article, and follow the link or just manually link it. However, each just shows as Cleric (Profession) currently.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

While I understand that I can just manually link, or alternatively rename the articles such as to Cleric (2e), Cleric (3.5), Cleric (4e), and so on then change the names back to just Cleric at the end, this would be upwards of hundreds of articles to change back at the end for projects such as mine, and other worlds may have similar situations. If the tags attached to the article are able to be seen, one could simply select Cleric (Profession) #2e or Cleric (Profession) #Pathfinder.

What are other uses for this feature request?

It would allow quicker location of articles through searching as well. For example, if a player only plays Pathfinder, they can search Cleric and just select the one with the #Pathfinder tag, rather than clicking on one of the six and hoping for the best.

The Team's Response

Thanks for the suggestion! This has been suggested and accepted in the past, referred to as "tag manager". It's planned as part of the tag manager update!

I've been having similar issues with some articles as well. Being able to differentiate articles without having to rename them would be very nice to be able to do, when you link something in articles.

It sounds like a rare problem, to be honest, but I understand the problem.   That said, if you link certain articles a lot, you could also make variables which are solely a code fragment that simply is the @ somecleric thing. So then you go [ cleric-5e to summon the right link instead of using the @ Cleric notation.
