What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

Currently every day I log into the site, I receive a notification about the anvil coins I receive. This notification doesn't tell me anything I don't already know, and is swamping out actual notifications that I want to receive.  

How does this feature request address the current situation?

I would like to be able to have a toggle, perhaps on the community feature voting or notifications page, where I can disable receiving notifications about the coins I've received.   Also not sure if this is the right category, I hope it is. None of the categories screamed "social system" or "notifications" at me.

The Team's Response

Notifications for coins awards have been completely removed. There is now a notice for the current coins you have on the Notifications tab.   P.S Please keep in mind, that I take no responsibility for the fact that I anticipate that, most suggestions will not be reaching any threshold from this point forward - I hope I will be proven wrong. This one is going to be on you guys.

    Agree with Michael, the original pop ups were fun, and disappeared on the next page, no harm no foul. I don't like the notification, so an option to change the between the three would be nice.

    Tbh, I kinda liked the original pop-ups. I'd like a way to switch in how I receive the notification.

    For people who log-in daily, it's a nuisance more than a help. Having the option of disabling it would be great.
