What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Currently all relation linking is displayed on the sidepanel, however the profession tab famous in the field and the rank previous owners of the rank are two examples where the number of records can become so L O N G that it might be better to display them in the content (left) side in the following format (with keeping the link functionality for the input field, only changing the article display): person1, person2, person3, person4, person5How does this feature request address the current situation?
Some relations that often contain marginally larger numbers of records could be condensed this way if the code supported changing to that display format.What are other uses for this feature request?
If it were implemented as a toggle for relation fields the users could decide per article as to where to display the relations.Follow up
To UnknownWriter88 I mean when you link stuff it displays in the sidebar like this: Person1 Person2 Person3 Person4 Person5 Person6 Person7 Person8 Person9 Person10 Person11 ... Now that can a bit long when you have a megaton of "King"-s for example. Instead it is to have an option to display like this: Person1, Person2, Person3, Person4, Person5, Person6, Person7, Person8, Person9, Person10, Person11...
