What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

I am, at this time, primarily using the manuscript functions and love all of World Anvil's world-building tools which allow me to develop a deep and complicated world without getting lost on my own details.

I love the global notebook because it's just as good as having a notebook in my pocket as I work, always there, whether I'm writing a novel chapter or a world-building article. Except that there is currently no way (that I have found) to go directly from anything in the "Manuscripts" tree to the "Notebook" tree. At least, not past the "Manuscripts" home page.

I would very much like to see a "Notebook" link added, perhaps in the minimalist bar at the top-right of the "Manuscript" editing pages where Write/Review/Read/View are included.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

Besides totally solving it? :D One of the key features of World Anvil is having everything at your fingertips. It seems to me that this would be in keeping with that. You seem to understand the creative flow state, and World Anvil supports remaining in that golden zone. (One of the reasons I chose WA over all the other manuscript organization apps out there, and thanks tons!!!) Copypasta from the notes window into the notebook after a writing session so that I remember to add these details to that article or that I finally named that place that I couldn't get a handle on is something my ADHD has trouble with.

What are other uses for this feature request?

I can't really think of anything else other than it just makes it easier for people like me to keep things all in one place.
