I believe that a mobile update has been in the works for some time. I don' t think that they are focusing on making any part of the site more moble friendly right now. Still, I don't know what the response will be, so I guess it doesn't hurt to ask. God bless and thanks for your input.

Drag handles - which only allow you to move something if you are dragging from the drag handle itself. These are already implemented in some places, like when changing the sorting order of articles in categories.
