In a similar way that secrets can be shared, attributed to certain pages, and can be searched in the editor I believe Quotes (blockquotes) could also use this feature.
In my mind, I imagine it would have the following sections:
QUOTE TITLE (Single string)
QUOTE TYPE (Drop down)
- Verbal
- Written
- Artpiece
- Etc.
CONTENT BOX (Full string)
AUTHOR
This would have two options, you can fill it in to say what you need OR you can link an article similar to how you can say items are owned by someone. However, it would need to be attachable to pretty much all article types.
Then, on that article, it can have a metadata section that shows all the QUOTES that person/book/artpiece/etc. has. This would allow viewers the ability to get to know the character/object and what they have "quoted" upon, and as a user this would allow me to easily remember who said what AND where.
Hopefully all the formatting I used will help, we shall see.— Oneriwien
