What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

  Given a category, you can currently do the following:   1. Display on the world page as a book cover using "Display this Category on the top of the World page using a Book-style cover image.".   2. Display other places as a book by using the book link, e.g. [\book:47b98d77-73d4-4ee8-9ba0-0a713f370051\]   It is not possible to make articles display as a book cover.   This makes it possible, but very painful to make a page as such as this:  

  https://www.worldanvil.com/w/drisenheim-fennefell/c/stable-mutaphils-category   In this case, each article is actually a category that links directly to an article, and the category book cover is being used as a direct link. This requires many steps; each article needs to have a category made, with the picture and direct link added, and then pasted as a book cover.   The feature I suggest is one of two things:   1. In Category Design widgets, add a widget named Articles (Books), which displays each article and sub-category as a book cover.   2. For each article and category, add a field similar to "Display this Category on the top of the World page using a Book-style cover image." named "Display this Article/Category on its parent category using a Book-style cover image."   Regardless of the above, in each article, add a field similar to categories that acts as their book cover.  

How does this feature request address the current situation?

  Implementing either of the above choices will result in articles and categories added in future automatically being shown as book covers. This will remove a lot of work from the author, and make using such categories significantly easier.    

What are other uses for this feature request?

  This makes readability in WorldAnvil significantly better, in my opinion, because it allows images to be shown instead of a text block.
