manuscripts search UX

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

Currently, the search features for Manuscripts are only by genre. There's no way to see the most popular books in any specific genre to be able to keep in the loop on what others are reading!    Adding the ability to sort by most viewed/least viewed will increase visibility for smaller novels on the platform, as well as help people view the most talked-about books.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

I think it's pretty self explanatory! By adding a bit more robust search features, it becomes more UX friendly and accessible.

What are other uses for this feature request?

  N/A, unless I'm missing something!

The Team's Response

Absolutely yes. this is kinda of overdue. I will see what I can do to schedule this.

As someone who really wants to take advantage of the Manuscript feature, I agree with this, having more ways to filter what an audience is looking for gives authors a better chance of having their work recognized. Sorting this way could also allow people to look for those up-and-comers who *don't* have a lot of views yet as well, giving them a chance for support as well.

Good idea. Anything that makes the manuscripts feel more like browsing in a book store (virtual or real) should increase interest in reading them.
