What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Currently a list of maps only seems to be available in "block" format in predetermined areas such as a TOC. I'm looking for a list of maps related to a specific part of the world (e.g. maps related to a specific nation) and also looking for a list that is just the names of the maps as opposed to the "block" look with previews of the map image, which can start taking up a decent amount of space and doesn't, IMO, look as clean.How does this feature request address the current situation?
If tagged lists could be created for maps, then I could add map lists to any page needed and control which maps appear via the included tag.What are other uses for this feature request?
If the functionality were expanded to other entry types (timelines, calendars, etc.) it would allow similar lists to be deployed as a feature on any needed article.The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! We're accepting this under investigation and if implemented will be part of the tag manager update.
